“My dad takes me to see art. I got in trouble for touching the paintings when I
went to see the Scream. I think I should be allowed to touch the paintings.
Some of my pictures have gods in them, my cousin Sandy said gods are more
real when they are invisible but I think they grow stronger when they are with
us, I like to draw them with us.
My dad’s god is Gitche Manitou, I don’t know who my god is yet. I used to
like Jesus but he sends people to hell. That is not right.
I like drawing people, but mostly pictures of me when I feel weird, not just
happy. That’s boring.
The picture of me when I am waking up when I am growing is a weird
feeling. My mom says my bones are growing. I know they’re just not in the
right places sometimes. ”
