Charlene Brown — Artist Biography

Charlene Brown was born many years ago in Banff, Canada. She began painting in the Canadian Rockies, and has always especially enjoyed location painting. From 1990 to 2000, she lived in Dubai UAE, where her husband was with Emirates Airline, and was able to travel and paint throughout the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Africa. During that time, her illustrated painting trip stories were published in the Gulf News, and she wrote a monthly art column for the Khaleej Times. She exhibited frequently with the Dubai International Arts Centre, winning Arts Prizes in 1993 and 1998.
