GREETINGS FROM RL Johnson - MagNews Editor Post Your Comments, Questions, Insights and Suggestions! TAURUS (Apr. 20- May 20) A creative wind is blowing your way. You should allow matters of an intensely personal nature to take their own course, as any mistimed intervention could introduce complications. Turn your attention to overseas contacts. But you'll also soon be looking inward, searching for the answers to life's many mysteries. GEMINI (May 21-June 21) Look for the underlying connections in the chaos. With Mars currently pounding away through a deeply personal section of your solar chart, you may be under pressure to act, and act fast. If you resist, you'll begin to feel more uncomfortable, so accept what must be done and resolve to take the lead.
CANCER ( June 22-July 22) Art projects should be started this month. It really is a month for creative effort. I don't think that anyone will have ideas to match yours when it comes to efficiency, organisation and practicality. Yet if family members are involved, you must take nothing, repeat nothing, for granted. LEO (July 23-Aug 22) A dream this month will inspire a new creation. You can expect radical initiatives at work, perhaps prompted by partners with unusual ideas. Also, do take quick steps to deal with any long-standing personal irritation - and try to find a peaceful path.
VIRGO (Aug. 23 -Sept. 22) It is time to get your inner feelings expressed. Break out the brush and paper and get creative. You do by nature tend to keep a stiff upper lip and pretend that nothing is wrong. However, it may be a material problem, perhaps a financial matter, possibly something to do with a lover or child, which eventually forces you to face up to simmering discontent.
LIBRA (Sept. 23 -Oct. 23) Inspiration is all around you. Actively look for it and you will be amazed. Avoid confrontation over domestic matters. Indeed you may relish the prospect of clearing the air and breaking free with one almighty bound. But even if you do get your own way, don't relax - at least not just yet.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 21) Let your creative muse flow. Few people realise that behind your occasionally devious tendencies lies a profound desire to create universal peace and harmony. This noble ambition will be a very prominent motivation over the next four or five weeks, though colleagues may continue to misunderstand your moves. SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22 -Dec. 21) Express ourself in an artistic way this month. I know that you want to live a life that is more fulfilling and complete, but now you'll be reminded of the fact that much depends on what you can afford. Yet above all it's a time to develop and expand your unique creative gifts and skills. Why don't you show the world what you're made of?
CAPRICORN (Dec 22.- Jan. 19) The celestial spotlight will be on you today. At work and at home others will be looking to you to take charge and sort things out. Family members are likely to expect you to take charge, but you should only accept such responsibility if you're completely happy with it. Make time for a new creative project. AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 -Feb. 19) The time has come to make a new committment to your creative growth. So why don't you gather your dreams and visions and express them for all to see. Also, do pursue any private spiritual interests in search of your own peace and understandings. You see this is a time to broaden your horizons in all directions.
PISCES (Feb. 19-Mar. 20) Do give more attention to creative matters. A dream this month will inspire a new sense of understanding. As a rule, trust in yourself and to thine own self be true. You should always jump in at the deep end and refuse to allow anyone to hold you back. And yes, I will always love you. ARIES (Mar. 21- April 20) Let your creative muse flow. And for all you creative Members wondering how you can
participate at Millennium Art Gallery we need you to help
out in this exciting new project! So break out the paper,
unscrew the paint lids, get a grip on a brush and make a
painting to add to the MagMember Virtual Collage.
Go wild, leap in without looking, and throw in a blob of
blue just because you feel like it, whip a line of RED across
the page just because it feels good, be the KID you really are.
Let the little devil play and MAKE A MESS.
Painting is therapy if nothing else, so go for the cure,
bop to the rhythm, let your eye-balls roll and well your
at it how about some good, loud, belly roars to free your
inhibitions and to bring some primal reality into your
neighbors' boring TV worlds.
Don't be a couch potato tonight. Do this project. You will
be glad you did. Make the cosmos quake with your passion.
WAKE UP THE WORLD! Do it! Do it! Do it!
Then when you're done, send your contribution to MagMember
Collage at the gallery address or scan your creation and
email me a large jpeg. I'm not kidding. I want you to help
out on this project. So break out an 8 by 11 sheet of
paper, a tin of watercolor paints and get it on, then
sign it and send it to me. Amateurs and first time painters
are encouraged to participate. Please include Member User
name.
All those who have the energy to go for it will receive a
fine art copy signed by yours truly and honorable mention
in the final collective collage. By the way, I won't be using
your entire painting. I plan to select specific portions of
each submitted image and cut and paste them into the new
collective collage.
Oh, did I mention that there is a time limit to complete
your painting. 30 minutes or less from the time you put the
first color on the paper. Have Fun! :-) RL
