Today We Remember.......In All Our Hearts
Never, ever, in human
history, has so much devastation, havoc and mayhem been viewed by so many
and perpetrated by so few. The architect of such contrived infamy is still
unknown. Even though Osama Bin Laden takes credit, probably a far more devious
military mind contrived the blueprints of destruction for many years. No detail
was overlooked as the archfiends of hell overran the aircrafts that turned
into missiles, with an innocent array of people onboard.
On the Eleventh of September 2001 the Twin Towers, one of the most revered
symbols of capitalism was pulverized and destroyed in a matter of a few hours.
The Pentagon, the symbol of American might was dealt a severe blow with the
loss of many lives. What mayhem, what utter wickedness, what an unnecessary
waste of life.
Today we remember...... so many children who are left without a loving dad,
a devoted Mom. Never again will their dad take them to the ball game. No more
will Mom stroke the hair and kiss a grazed knee better. Alas, no more.
Today we remember........ all the aged parents who had watched their children
grow from babyhood, then to adolescence, to graduation, to a great career,
to end in flames and rubble.
Today we remember...... all the brave fire fighters who went on search and
rescue missions to save trapped victims of frenzy fundamentalists, never to
return, engulfed in smoke and flames.
Today we remember all the precious lives lost. We remember golden sunny skies
that turned into dark clouds of dismay and horror. Today we remember in all
our hearts.
What grief, what sorrow, how can God let this happen? Why? What is life all
about? And what horrific scenes will come next? Will we become the next victims
to perish needlessly? Is it God’s fault in some way, as variously people claim?
Or does the blame lay somewhere else, and if so, where can that be? The atheist
expired alongside the devote believers in this awful tragedy of innocent folks.
Can the devious, crooked finger of guilt be pointed at (those) who preach
hatred in their mosques? (Who) indoctrinate figments of fantasy into the
minds of gullible fanatics? Has that got any connection to a true God or
is it mankind's insanity? Have we learnt nothing from thousands of years of
death and mayhem from "Holy Gods" that are the fictitious contrivances
of zealots and bigots with venomous, bestial, evil intent.
One year on and what answers are we left with? There is no doubt the scenes
of airplanes smashing into the buildings are still etched in everyone's mind.
The love of our fellow human brothers and sisters, which were taken so suddenly,
is carved in all our hearts. No amount of grieving and tears will bring back
the dear departed loved ones in the physical sense, but their love still remains
and always will.......Where there is true love, there lives a true soul.
Because a soul cannot die and love cannot die, it must mean they are still
here.
Although misguided beings can take our physical form, they cannot mark or
harm our true form in any manner. We are secure in the knowledge that no real
harm can ever befall us and although there is no physical substitute for a
kind word or a loving hug, there is a tangible reality that transcends the
pitches and tosses of misguided adversity. Spirit’s love brings forth sunshine
where there is darkness, and brings happiness where there is grief.
Oh yes, terrorists can take our life and they may bring havoc and mayhem to
a society, out of tune with the orchestrations of universal insights. But,
when we all join together in a oneness of universal wisdom, no harm can overcome
us. Once we understand that we are a loving soul of infinite love, enshrined
in a human existence for a short but joy-filled experience, we cannot be overcome
with fear. And once fear is eradicated from our lives.......... what weapon
does the evil plague of ignorance possess against true spirit?
TRUE SPIRIT.
True spirit cannot be crushed,
True spirit cannot be drowned, cannot burn, cannot die,
True spirit will fight for peace, never cower to "evil" intent,
True spirit will fight pollution,
True spirit will fight corruption,
True spirit will protect life from "evil" beings
by providing the tools to protect,
True spirit will envelope a human so they can still live
IN LOVE AND JOY through
All of the above chaos and much, much. more.
